We meet a lot of teachers in our life. Especially for Koreans, we get to meet more teachers than other nationality of students because Korean students take lessons even after the school. Among those numerous teachers, we remember only handful of them who had great impression on us. Some are good and some are bad. Obviously, we don't have good impression on every teacher. However, bad teachers often turn out to be the best teachers after years. One teacher I really didn't liked when I was in my high school. He taught us well and helped us learn other things but his teaching style was harsher than other teachers. He was my science teacher with a fat belly and grumpy looking eyes. He always wanted us to memorize what we were taught each day and got us tested in the next class. So the science class was the worst class for me and my friends. It was not the memorization of class work that we hated but it was what comes after the test. He hit us for each question that we got wrong with a wooden stick. I really didn't want to be beaten up so I studied hard for this science class. After all, he was the true teacher who guided me to study and I am glad he was my teacher.
