Work less and Have more leisure time

In our society, with the help of high technologies, there are plenty amount of time-saving devices. However, still a lot of people don't use them wisely and continuously spend their time working. Comparing to the past, people earn a lot more money and have more helpful utilities, but it seems that they work even longer and harder than before. People aren't machine, so they need to take a proper rest. Having more leisure time doesn't mean that the result is bad. It could be good for individuals and also nations. There are three reasons why people need to work less compared to the current situation and take more time to have leisure time.
First of all, too many people are so stressful because of their too much work. It is really serious matter that many people are stressed out; it is not only bad for one's health but also companies. If they are stressed out, they cannot focus on what they are doing. It means that the efficiency of work would drop. They are doing their work slowly, not really a lot more amount of work. If they can have more time to rest, they can focus on their works, and they can finish same amount of their work more quickly and creatively.
Secondly, in the current society, the quality of life becomes really important part in one's life. Because people aren't machine only working to earn money. Especially in Korea, working time is long and hard comparing to the other countries; so they need to work less and take more leisure time. Looking around, you can easily find that too many people work till noon and even in weekends. The reason why we earn money is to improve our quality of life, not the money itself. Current working time is still rather long and hard, we need to enjoy our lives more fully.
Lastly, having a lot more leisure time is also good for national economy. If people can spend their time in leisure, leisure industry and market can grow and develop. Not only local residents can enjoy this kind of industry, but also foreigners can enjoy them; it means other countries people visit our country for having fun. Currently, such leisure industry is great help for national economy; in instance, Boracay and Maldives and so on where are famous for perfect leisure. We need to notice that leisure time is not really bad, it can be great for individuals and also nations.
In conclusion, I believe that we need more leisure time for those three reasons; efficiency of work, quality of life and national economy. We need to take more time to rest, current working time is still enough. With a lot of time-saving devices, we need to know save our time more wisely and spend more time taking a rest. We have to notice that we are not machine only following money itself.
