What make a volcano erupt?
The earth is same as person, when it wants to throw up. There are some volcanoes that still could erupt in the world. However, the cause isn't the same. Let me explain what makes a volcano erupt and the stages of a volcano.
First, inside the Earth, the pressure is too high and it causes all material under the plate to liquefy and boil. This liquid, Magma, is sticky and normally, it cannot break the plate which is the most outer layer of the Earth. But, some soft plate could be penetrated by Magma and that situation is called a volcano. Those soften places are the boundary with which two plate meet or hot spot of the Earth.
Second, the pressure is enough for the magma to go up. Also, the gas has been sufficient to break the cap, the gas ooze out of the cap. Next, the hot water comes from the volcano. The water is so hot that you can boil some eggs.
Finally, the volcano erupts and gives off gas, magma, dust, and rocks. That is a real disaster. Some scientist concluded that about 200 million years ago, there was a huge volcano that caused all animals to be died out.
In conclusion, it is really interesting to know how volcano erupts. Gas accumulates under the cap, water comes out, and pyroclastic materials erupt. Before I finish my writing I want to quote Michael Bright, the author of 1001 Natural Wonders You Must See Before You Die. He recommends that you have to watch the eruption of volcano, before you are dead. Perhaps, it would be dangerous to see volcano in the eye, but I also want to see the volcano.
